Biology Topic 4- My Mistakes!!!!

Please discuss for me the mistakes you made in your pea germination lab report. What do you need to different on the next lab report? Did you utilize the rubric and the guidelines handout will writing this report? Do you now have a better understanding of what needs to be done better the next time? When reviewing my pea germination lab I was a little disappointed in myself to tell the truth. I could do better and I know that for a fact. I should have spent more time with it than I did. I have done lab reports before and I guess I was overly cocky i guess you could say. Next time I will review it more than once and after going over it when i reword things in my way I will try to stray away from what the teacher said. I also need to go  more into detail with my graphs and information. Next time I do a report i feel like i will do much better job than the first one. I also am a little glad I made these mistakes know and not in the future. I feel like I make the corrections on my paper and you can look forward to better grades on my next lab report!

bio blog 3!!

tomorrow, you will start working on projects involving the various biomes of the world. The question I pose to each of you before we start is, what is it about a biome that makes it unique? Why is a desert a desert? Why is a rainforest a rainforest? What is it about them that gives them the unique characteristics that make them what they are?
Biome's are unique by all kinds of standards. there weather i think is most fascinating. think about it the rain forest can rain for days on end and need the water to survive but the desert it rarely rains and cactus  are fine without  the water. When you think of biome's you also think of all the adaptions that one abject or creature would have to make to be able to withstand the climate. what also makes a bio different is the creatures that life in it and the food levels that they live by. Also they lay of the land. the rain forest is probably most mystical to me with all the large trees plants and animals. It seems like a colorful place and would make for a great place to take pictures. The desert is very interesting, i guess i could say. all the open land and how it changes since it is sand( not a good place to get lost in).

My Year To Be! Or Not To Be!

There are so many different goals and hopes for this year, but my main goal throughout the year is to become the closes to God than I have ever been. That has always been my goal, but I have never had the tools and this year I feel like this is my chance to devote my heart more to the lord.  This year I hope to make lots  of new friends. I have made plenty of new friends this year but that's still not enough, more people I know the better and merrier I will be. Im trying to stay in contact with all my old friends from Ohio, Alabama, Georgia, and a hole lot more places. I know its going to be hard, but I can do it.  Grades are also on  the top of the list. To have all A's or B's would be great, but I know I need to balance my schedule take my time and remember its very critical to my freshman year and the first year that counts to which collage I get in. So the next four year I will be working my tush off! Athletics are important to me too, but school first if I can balance it smartly were I am not stretching my self too far I hope to keep playing volleyball and try out for softball in the spring. Even if I cant play sports I want to stay in shape be healthy and eat healthy. The bible says it is gods temple so we might as well take care of our self. I also hope to be true to my self ,more poised , think about others more and be more thankful. This is what us air-force brats call a new year . New school, new house, new friends, new family ,but same person. I hope this New year is amazing with the people I have met the teachers I have and the tools to god I have an amazing feeling that this year will be full of new experiences and the best one yet!!

bio with Townsend 2! which pea will when the race??

You have just started an experiment where peas were soaked in water for 48, 24, 12, 6, and 1 hour respectively. Which one do you think will result with the most germination? Which one do you think will germinate the fastest? (Doesn't necessarily have to be the same one). Why have you chosen the ones you have? I believe that the 12 hour one will germinate fastest. It wasn't over drenched or not enough.It seems to me when you plant a plant you can kill it with water, you can either put to much or to little. so it seems that 12 hours is in between the longest and shortest time. I am looking at it from the plant perspective though It could be completely different but i think the water will suffocate it since it is a plant and too much of a bad thing is not a good thing.

Biology Topic 1

At this point in your life, what person (human) would you say is most influential in your life? Why? What is it about that person that makes you say this? My mom  i know thats what everyone says but its the truth my mom has beens to every soccer to softball and every game inbetween. She has pushed me and pushed me in to be the best person to be. she always ask me when i get out of the car "whats the most important thing to do today?" and in response i have to answer make a new friend it might be cleshae but hey it has made me a better person with alot of friends! my mom always stresses my relation ship with god and i am unimagintively greatful for it, because of her i can say without a solid dought in my mind that gofd is my father and my holly savior. Without her who knows what type of christian would i have become. My mom always gave me a family oriented platform to grow up on it was always family first then school then sports. my mom also thought it was very important to have family dinners i can see that now. I might have not liked sitting down at the table becouse a tv show was on that i had been waiting to see all day (that was a verry long time for me when i was 7)  or a friend wanted to play but now as i look back and my parents are divorced and my sisters live with my dad. I miss sitting down at the table and talking about our day. I wish i would have valued it more and relized how smart my mom is. My mom seems to be on her A game (as i like to call it) no matter what life throws at her she has her head held high and it almost seems nothing can stop her. my mom will always be my role model becouse she always has a smile on her face and her ears open to god and a hand ready to lead me on my way to our new life!

I had the most wonderful experience of being on set for the first time. I might have been an extra but i still feel very privileged and proud. It is a beautiful song and Blake sings it wonderfully now maybe l will meet him someday! God has really blessed me I hope i always can take the time to see it!

DCA Is Top Notch

Had an amazing day at school. i'm so lucky to be at a school that holds there standers of being good people so high! I feel like the teachers are amazingly nice and helpful and I don't think in all the schools I have been in have I have been welcomed so well. But the best part about it is to talk freely of god and have discus  him in class for the first time in my school carer i have a feeling i'm going to like it here!

This picture represent the socs and the greasers, the socs have cars and can gang up on a greaser there for step all over them just because there bored or maybe had to much drink . They take advantage of them there like bugs they step on them until there are destroyed or gone. They did it to johnny and about got Ponyboy. the greasers don't have the privileges of there parents buying them cars they don't have the money.

Drama My First Stage Fight

Yesterday I stayed after for volleyball the team is looking great! afterwards drama additions for egad the woman in white first we started with a self choreographed fight scene and me and Robyn did great! then we did some reading. IT was a great experience even if i didn't get a call back i learned a lot and have a wonderful memories of my first fighting performance! thx Mrs.Lindsay!
