Thanks For Thanksgiving!

               With Thanksgiving approaching it makes us think about what we are all thankful for. I am thankful for many things, but I am most thankful for the men and woman in the military who are away from their loved ones and my family heritage. Thanksgiving also lets us see how lucky we are to be able to come together with  family and friends. It also makes us look back to our family heritage. It makes me feel proud of my country to see how much we have grown, and to see how many freedoms we have. I hope that there are many thanksgivings to come, and that I am able to share with someone the love of being thankful.

Finding My Back Up Plan!

   Today at school was career day. I was able to go through and learn about what job opportunity were open to me. I went to ER medicine, Military, Business, and Theater arts. I enjoyed every class, and learned a lot about each subject, but I still feel like military is the best choice for me. Even though I already had a good idea of what  I want to do with my life today confirmed my belief, but best of all, because of career day I have found my back up plan. After vistiting everyone I believe my back up plane would be ER Medicine. It seems like a busy, but always interesting, type of life style.

Cosmetics in Rome

     In Rome their daily lives where based on appearance and power.The Romes where very much like the Greeks. They wanted to seem  better than the Greeks. The woman would spend many hours in a special room to have their slaves apply their makeup. Usually only wealthy woman would wear makeup. The makeup would have to be applied many times through the day. They used this lead based makeup to make their skin  bright white to seem as pure as the gods. Even the men wore make up to seem immortal. Many woman where dying in this time period from unknown causes and know scientist are to believe that it was from led poisoning.

Pour Pour Pour!

     What does it mean to "pouring out"? Pouring out your walk with Christ,by sharing your knowledge . Being able to share and share until you need to be filled back up again. I think most of all it is important to take the time and want to share your walk, and wanting to take and give your life to filling up and draining. You have to share(drain) your wisdom of god or you will be so full you cant fill up anymore. You need to share every week and be ready to listen and sit through church and fill, fill, and fill then go to school and drain, drain, and  drain!

How to Survive Mrs. Townsend

    Now that you have "survived" the first nine weeks of freshman biology, I would like for you to reflect on your experience thus far. If you could give next year's freshmen three pieces of advice that will help you succeed in this class, what would you tell them? Take your time, study, work your hardest. Even if it seems that its too much or if you are being eating alive you can do it. The number one thing is don't blow anything off! Get your work done and don't be lazy! Be smart about your studding desisions.
